The quality of mountain biking in Morzine is one of the reasons why the town is nearly as popular with adrenaline seekers in the summer as it is in the winter. In the heart of the Portes du Soleil bike park, from Morzine you can access the whole area easily.
The lift system takes you and your bike to around 50 specialist trials. There are downhill runs from easy to insanely difficult and they are graded accordingly. The enduro or cross country trials make use of the downhill runs with linking trails.
All the ski shops in town turn to bike shops where you can hire or buy any amount of equipment you like. All the bars and restaurants reopen for the summer season from late June when the lifts open to their close in early September.
The area
There are 12 resorts linked by lifts and trails and includes 4 world renowned bike parks. In total there are 20 lifts and 100 of kms of trails. Each bike park offers a different experience.
All day passes for bikes are €23 euros.

Events
The Portes Du Soleil hosts a number of world cups and european compeitions.
Crankworx kicks off the calendar in Les Gets on 14-18 June. It is a competition for big air and trick riders. Its a great spectacle with a young party atmosphere.
The area officially opens with the Pass’portes enduro/cross country ride which anyone can enter. The weekend runs over the last week in June. We can accommodate short breaks for this event, check out our blog for more information
