The chalet is on a quiet road with only a few other properties.
The chalets location makes it easy to walk to Morzine or access to directly Avoriaz ski area.

Our stay at Sunnyside chalet was great, it is well set up with all the necessary amenities and anything we needed was addressed very quickly and efficiently. The location was good and the ski hire and airport transfer discounts were appreciated. I would happily stay here again

It is a very private space which is not overlooked and is south facing, so it gets plenty of sunshine.
There is private exterior parking for 2 vehicles
The chalet has a large south facing garden which overlooks woodland. There is a terrace around the south facing front of the chalet and to the eastern side. The eastern side has outside dining and a BBQ. The garden is not fenced.
Bikes can be stored securely in the large garage.
Location
Guests can access the higher pistes of Avoriaz easily from Chalet Sunnyside, whilst also being only 10 minutes walk away from Morzine village centre.
In 10 minutes you can walk to the Super Morzine ski lift via the suspension bridge. You can access Avoriaz, Switzerland and Chatel via the SuperMorzine ski lift. Just beyond that lift is the village centre.
The top of the Pleney lift is the meeting point for many ski lessons, particularly beginner lessons. The lift gives access to Morzine and Les Gets. To reach the Pleney ski lift, you can either walk past the SuperMorzine lift and across the town square or you can take the free Petit Train service from Super Morzine over to the Pleney.
Just a few minutes walk away is the bus stop to the Ardent ski lift (line M) which gives you access straight into the pistes of Avoriaz, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. At Ardent you will find the most popular après bar Happy Hours along with another friendly bar and ski hire shops. The easy access and après are why this is the local’s favourite lift.
You can book ski lessons which start from Lindarets which is the area at the top of the Ardent ski lift.
Our ski hire partner, All Mountain Rental is 100m from the chalet.
Montriond is a small village 15 minutes walk from the chalet. It has a couple of bars, restaurants and a convenience shop. There is also a micro brewery below the village which you can walk to along the river.
