A Magical Family Stay at Chalet Yukinko in Morzine! Our family had the most incredible stay at Chalet Yukinko in Morzine, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth, charm, and comfort of this stunning chalet. The chalet itself is beautifully designed—spacious yet cozy, with breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail was fantastic, from the comfortable beds to the inviting living space where we could all unwind after a day on the slopes. Speaking of skiing—the location was good for a Chalet experience! Easy access to the lifts made our days on the mountain completely stress-free. And when we wanted to explore the town, Morzine’s charming center was just a short 10 minute walk, with lovely restaurants, shops, and après-ski spots. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality. Whether it was helpful local tips or small thoughtful touches, everything was done to ensure we had the best time possible. Our whole family, from the youngest to the oldest, made unforgettable memories here. If you’re looking for a perfect alpine retreat in Morzine, Chalet Yukinko is the place to be. The 1st floor has been designed as an open plan sociable, modern space with a vaulted roof and floor to ceiling windows which lead out to a sheltered terrace. The south facing aspect means you can catch the sun from morning to evening. The dining area has seating for 10 people and the comfortable seating area has a SMART TV and a fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is big enough for guests to cook together and a breakfast bar.
There’s nothing like watching your favourite movies or concerts with your friends and family in the comfort of your own cinema room. Yukinko’s has a high-definition projector with incredible surround sound and connection to streaming services. The concealed speakers make it feel like the sound is coming directly from the action on screen and immersing you in the experience. The lower floor has a sauna, shower and treatment area for massages, beauty treatments or even space for yoga and meditation.
The private covered car port has access for 2 cars and has an electric vehicle charging station. Further private parking for 2 cars is available directly beside the chalet.
The chalet has a large balcony off the living room on the upper floor. On the balcony there is comfy seating and a swing egg chair. There is a BBQ and outdoor dining on a terrace on the ground floor. An additional terrace off the lower floor bedrooms has sun loungers. The chalet perimeter is fenced. Bikes can be stored securely in the traditional “mazot” in the garden.
Location
Chalet Pavots location allows guests to access the higher pistes of Avoriaz easily, whilst also being only 8 minutes walk away from Morzine village centre.
In 10 minutes you can walk to the Super Morzine ski lift via the suspension bridge. You can access Avoriaz, Switzerland and Chatel via the SuperMorzine ski lift. Just beyond that lift is the village centre.
The top of the Pleney lift is the meeting point for many ski lessons, particularly beginner lessons. The lift gives access to Morzine and Les Gets. To reach the Pleney ski lift, you can either walk past the SuperMorzine lift and across the town square or you can take the free Petit Train service from Super Morzine over to the Pleney.

Just a few minutes walk away is the bus stop to the Ardent ski lift (line M) which gives you access straight into the pistes of Avoriaz, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. At Ardent you will find the most popular après bar Happy Hours along with another friendly bar and ski hire shops. The easy access and après are why this is the local’s favourite lift.
You can book ski lessons which start from Lindarets which is the area at the top of the Ardent ski lift.
Our ski hire partner, All Mountain Rental is 100m from the chalet.

Montriond is a small village 15 minutes walk from the chalet. It has a couple of bars, restaurants and a convenience shop. There is also a micro brewery below the village which you can walk to along the river.
