The Rotonde is of he most popular restaurants in Morzine. It a large place but they have zoned it so it feel homely rather than cavernous. It is in a great location, just down the road from the Pleney but also just off the town square. Its large sunny terrace makes it very welcoming especially in the summer when you can sit and watch the world go by.
The menu is wide and varied. There are pizzas, local dishes, steaks and fish. The specialties board is always good. So you can watch the budget or splurge. My husband claims this is the best steak in Morzine. The menu now includes vegetarian and gluten free marks, and it highlights there is more than the normal offerings for those dietary needs than you might have thought.
Their staff are very professional and courteous, some of them are very friendly. You can ring and book, and we suggest you do so during the winter as it can get very busy.
At lunchtimes they do an excellent Plat du Jour and great salads. It is worth coming off the mountain for a long lunch here.
