Morzine Takeaways

If you have chosen to to come on a self catered holiday to Morzine, at some point you will probably want a takeaway.  So here is the lowdown on what’s on offer.

morzine takeaway

Mammas
Where the Seasonnaires are fed.  It is very Brits orientated with a wide variety of Burgers, pizza, wraps and noodles and even fish and chips. It can get very busy inside but Rogers Bar over the road is usually happy for you to eat there, if you buy a drink. Our faves are Thai noodles and the pizza with the meat balls on.  They don’t deliver but you can ring ahead.

Spice Garden
Over the road from Mamas is our only Asian takeaway.  They do a great naan and an average curry. It is not the cheapest but it fulfills the urge for Indian if you get it. They don’t deliver but you can ring ahead.

Pizza Schuss
Family friendly pizza and creperie hut right in the centre of town.  They have a pretty standard menu and will deliver, although we have heard differing reports on how easy this is to arrange in English.

Burger Place
Writing this blog I couldn’t for the life of me think what the name of this place was.  It was in draft as ‘Burger place at foot of the Pleney’.  Low and behold is it called Burger Place.  Well it works!  This little snack bar do great burgers and open until 11pm.  Most people sit in as there are plenty of benches but you can take away too.

Per'SylChez Per’syl
A little pizza hut next to the Maison Medicale.  They do great pizzas and they deliver if you order 2 or more. There English is limited but they are very friendly.  Their delivery vehicle is a battered Fiat Panda with ‘livraison’ splashed over the side in reggae colours which always makes me smile.
