I am the Booking and Concierge Manager at Elevation Alps. I joined the team in October 2017 when Elevation was in its fairly early stages of business and I have been lucky to have an input in to several parts of its growth. I describe myself as a people person and love nothing more than ensuring that enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. I make it a priority to help our guests organise their trip with as little stress and effort as possible, tailor making their holiday by helping them find the right caterer for their group, helping to organise ski lessons and sourcing the ideal childcare for their little ones. An added bonus to my role is that I often get to meet and welcome so many of our clients on arrival in resort.
Having lived in the French Alps for over 10 years I class Morzine as home. I adore the seasons and everything they bring. Life here is never dull and there is always something new to try or a new place nearby to explore. As well as snowboarding I enjoy hiking, wakeboarding, playing tennis and walking my miniature sausage dog.
My work days can sometimes be long but I feel like I’ve found a good balance between work and play. My days off are usually spent on the mountain but every month or so I love to leave the valley and explore further afield, visiting places such as Chamonix and Annecy. It still amazes me how much sunshine we get here all year round (hence the name Portes du Soleil – gate of sunshine) and this is a huge factor as to why I feel like Morzine is a long-term home for me. Sunshine makes me happy!
Living without your family close by can sometimes be a challenge (especially since Covid 19) but I can honestly say that the Elevation Alps team are like family. We have a fantastic work ethic and dynamic between us all which makes going to work fun.
I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Elevation Alps team and look forward to welcoming guests back into resort at the soonest possible point.
