How does our Contactless Catered Service work?

The Contactless Catered Service provides a perfect mix of a holiday on your own terms with none of the stress of meal planning or supermarket shopping.  Allowing you to focus on what really matters.

The Devonish family’s guest experience of the Contactless Catered Service

‘We arrived at a warm Altaka 4 on a chilly autumnal day, a family of 4 adults and 3 kids. As we started our journey from the UK at 5am, we had some very tired and hungry kids (and adults).

“Walking in to find a well-stocked fridge was a complete treat!”

We had some orange juice and toast before stashing our pockets with mini brownies to head out to explore Morzine.  We were really impressed with the selection of snacks we could take out of the apartment with us that were pocket friendly!  This would be excellent for on a ski holiday.

After a beautiful stroll along the Dereches, we headed back to our apartment for a hot-tub!  The view of the surrounding mountains from the tub were incredible.  But the additional (plastic) glass of bubbly made it even more special.  Then we lit the fire, put on a movie and made some popcorn for the kids.  For the adults we fixed up a snack board with cheese and nibbles to us through until dinner.

The doorbell rang at 6pm and we opened the door to find a smiley Chef Jo delivering our evening meal.  We’d opted for the balanced menu.  As it was a Friday, we had chicken burgers, quinoa, coleslaw, and wedges for the kids.  We loved the fruit tartlets for dessert!  The meal came with very easy to read heating instructions which allowed us to be sat at the table in 15 minutes.

“The portions were plenty and the food was delicious.”

We helped ourselves to the cold beers that the fridge was stocked with.  A perfect accompaniment with the burgers!  After dinner, we left the reusable containers, that the food was delivered in, outside ready for Jo to collect the next morning.  We really liked this idea of no plastic waste.

“We often find going to restaurants with three kids of varying ages quite stressful but the contactless catered service allowed us to have a yummy meal in the comfort of the chalet with minimal effort.”

Additionally, we loved the range of alcoholic beverages for us adults to choose from and the children were happy too with their great selection of soft drinks.

In the morning we had a delivery of delicious pastries and baguettes from the bakery.  We opted to make poached eggs and salmon this morning for breakfast.  The kids helped themselves to cereal, fruit and yoghurts. We then spent the day in Les Gets testing out the new 4 season Luge which was great fun for all the family.

We would definitely recommend Contactless Catered Service to others for a hassle-free holiday.’
